Our StrongStart programs run Monday to Friday and will welcome young children (infant to age five) and their parents/caregivers on these days.
Registration for the 2025/26 school year
Registration for StrongStart centres will start when the centres are open, beginning on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
For a list of centres and hours, please see the StrongStart centres 鈥� hours section below. You do not need to preregister to attend a StrongStart session.
If you are registering for the first time, click this link to access a fillable registration form to send to the StrongStart site facilitator through email or to print off and bring with you to the StrongStart site during a drop-in session along with proof of your child鈥檚 birthdate (birth certificate or passport). The facilitators will have blank copies available if you are unable to access the form.

StrongStart is a free program for parents with children aged infant to five years old.
Parents and caregivers attending StrongStart BC will participate with their children in organized sessions like story time and circle time.
They will also be able to participate in free play, arts, early literacy, and information sharing, and will help choose and serve healthy snacks.
Parents and caregivers are likely to discover new ways to support their children鈥檚 learning at home, and may make valuable connections with others attending the centre.
The benefits of StrongStart include: increasing children鈥檚 exposure to literacy and play; providing information about parenting and community resources; providing a fun and healthy learning environment that benefits the whole family; and recognizing parents as their children鈥檚 first and most important teacher.
