Step into the Roaring Twenties with the Thomas Haney musical theatre class’ production of Chicago: The Musical (Teen Edition).

Set in the 1920s, Chicago follows Roxie Hart, a wannabe vaudeville star who ends up in jail after murdering her lover. There, she meets Velma Kelly, a famous nightclub performer with a similar tale. Both women turn to the same smooth-talking lawyer, and their rivalry heats up as they compete for headlines and the spotlight.

Evening performances of Chicago: The Musical (Teen Edition) will take place at 7 p.m. on May 8, 9, 10, 14, 16, and 17, 2025 (doors open 6:30 p.m.).
Matinee shows are scheduled for May 7 at 9:30 a.m. (doors open 9 a.m.) and May 17 at 2 p.m. (doors open 1:30 p.m.)

Thomas Haney Secondary’s theatre doors are located on the west side of the building, across from the skate park (23000 116 Ave, Maple Ridge).
